Wisly Gerald Augustin, M.D., is an experienced ophthalmologist who serves patients at New York Ophthalmology. He is a uveitis specialist who believes in personalizing his care for each patient’s own specific eye care needs. He offers a wide range of eye health services to help his patients see everything New York has to offer with crystal-clear vision.

Education & Experience
Dr. Augustin earned his Bachelor of Science from Long Island University, graduating cum laude, and then received his Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College. He also achieved his Master of Public Health from the Joseph Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.
Following his education, Dr. Augustin continued his training with an internship in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital with the University of Miami School of Medicine, a pre-residency fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine researching ophthalmic epidemiology, and a residency in preventative medicine at the State University of New York School of Medicine. He also completed a residency in ophthalmology, including a year as chief resident, at the Nassau County Medical Center’s Department of ophthalmology. Finally, he finished a clinical fellowship in ocular immunology and uveitis at the National Institute of Health’s National Eye Institute.
