Dr. Gregory Stein is a highly-skilled ophthalmologist at New York Ophthalmology’s offices in Jamaica and South Bronx. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of retinal and vitreoretinal conditions. Dr. Stein is extremely passionate about eye care and dedicated to providing a personalized experience for every one of his patients.
Education & Training
Dr. Stein received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons before an ophthalmology residency at Columbia University Medical Center. To further develop his knowledge and skills, he completed two vitreoretinal disease and surgery fellowships — one at Columbia University Medical Center, and the other at the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Stein also completed a medical retina fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami to further cement his specialization.
